Taking inspiration from butterflies and tarantulas, we came to this magazine shoot armed with our silkiest custom 4mm Knot-Head Nylon ropes, which layered stunningly over stylist Sachiko’s sheer piece from The End Lingerie and cord-like silver earrings from Lizz Jardim.

NYC Shibari in Limited Attachment for Blanc Magazine
Limited Attachment contrasts mature, dark shibari styling against youthful interplay and colorful childlike scenes, taking inspiration from the juxtaposition of avant-garde silhouettes against childlike graphics in Louis Vuitton’s Come Play with Me capsule by Nicolas Ghesquière and Chinese artist Sun Yitian. NYC Shibari’s Sam Jay and Zero-Gi embodied the editorial adult themes through custom asymmetrical shibari ties with clean, refined lines and traditional hishi patterns.
